From humble beginnings to club dance floors and house parties - Bhekumuzi Hleleni, one better known as CHAZZY epitomises soul, essence and passion when delivering music. Whether it be through the bass blasting from his tunes; the melodies bouncing off his afro-centric beats or when he hits the decks and drives crowds into a straight-up frenzy.
Pure passion fused him together with music from an early age. Growing up listening to the likes of DJ Kent, DJ Fresh and many industry greats, it led him to the art of deejaying in 2009 at age 14. What began as a minor interest turned to a love affair and at age 16, he realised himself a club DJ selecting afro-house and hip-hop are his weapons of choice when attacking the dance floors.
Since then he has shared a stage with the likes of Heavy K, Liquideep and Black Coffee to name a few. Where many would stop, he - however, decided not to. He took to making his own thumping beats and hasn't stopped since. He released his first project at age 21 and hasn't looked back since.
